CENTRE WELLINGTON – Police are looking for clues after golf carts were stolen from the Fergus Golf Club recently.
On Oct. 8 at about 8am, Wellington County OPP received a report of theft from the course on Wellington Road 19. Police say that sometime between Oct. 7 at 7:20pm and Oct. 8 at 8am, suspects stole six golf carts from the property.
“The carts had been secured with a cable prior to the theft,” police stated in a press release. “The carts are beige in colour with green trim and have Golf North decals on the front hoods.”
The approximate value of the stolen carts is $25,000.
