On April 4 at about 10am Wellington County OPP received a call regarding damage to a coin acceptance machine in one of the bays at the Elora Car Wash.
Police say between 8:42am and 9:10am a male suspect entered bay three of the car wash and attempted to pry open the machine.
The male suspect was wearing a blue jacket and a blue toque with a white horizontal stripe on it. The suspect vehicle is described as a white Ford E350 van.
“No money was obtained; however, the machine will cost approximately $2,500 to repair,” police said in a press release. “The investigation is still ongoing.”
