FERGUS – The next Gallery Concert at Melville United Church is set for Feb. 11 and features the Cantabile Strings.
“Their easy banter between pieces and varied and creative programming have always been enjoyed,” officials state in a press release.
For this concert, they will be joined by Tony Snyder and Judith Douglas to play works for two horns and string quartet, a combination very popular in the 18th century.
The group will follow this by programming music to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
This concert will also be held at the Melville United Church in Fergus.
The concerts are jointly sponsored by the Wellington County Museum and Archives and the Elora Arts Council.
There will be coffee post performance and time to meet with the musicians. The concert begins at 2pm and donations are appreciated.
