ERIN – The Town of Erin is inviting residents to celebrate Canada Day at Centre 2000 on June 30.
The event starts at 1pm, with crafts, games and outside activities, including giant Jenga, inflatable games and face painting.
Magician Ron Martin will be performing a series of magic tricks outdoors, before his full-length show inside the theatre at 2:30pm.
“It is a blessing and an honour to call ourselves Canadian,” said Erin spokesperson Chris Vernon.
“We are so pleased to be able to celebrate our beautiful country and town with everyone.”
Mascots from AAA Events will be on site, as well as Naydo’s Potatoes Food truck from 1 to 4pm.
A mobile baked goods cart will be on site including popcorn.
A screening of Kung Fu Panda, will be inside the theatre, at 3:30pm.
A free community barbecue is set for 5pm, followed by live music.
The evening will finish with fireworks at dusk.
