The theme for this year’s event is “Accelerate Action,” and Valentine epitomizes what that means, a news release said.
“Jill’s mission is to empower, educate and inspire individuals to lead deeply meaningful lives,” it stated.
Through UGO Impact, Valentine leads groups to volunteer and enhance lives through service and travel abroad, as well as in Canada.
“Her key initiatives – like the Seeds of Change in Tanzania and the Give to Grow Community Movement in Canada – aim to foster self-discovery and a deeper appreciation for humanity, encouraging a more caring world,” the release stated.
Valentine will be sharing what she has learned through her humanitarian projects and how to take “accelerated action” to live a more meaningful life, it said.
The IWD event includes a seated plated dinner.
Tickets are $55 plus HST and available through Eventbrite at bit.ly/3Z1rpVU.
