Bridge elected chair of board of health for another year

GUELPH – George Bridge was re-elected chair of Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health’s board of health at its inaugural meeting on Feb. 5.

GEORGE BRIDGE

Bridge was mayor of Minto and became a citizen member of the board last year after he retired from political office and then was elected board chair. He has chaired the board of health for several years before that while mayor of Minto.

Guelph councillor Linda Busuttil was elected vice chair and Guelph/Eramosa Mayor Chris White, who was recently elected Warden of Wellington County, resumes his role as board secretary/treasurer. That automatically makes White chair of the finance committee. East Garafraxa Mayor Guy Guardhouse was voted  chair of the human resources committee.
