Wellington County OPP are currently investigating a break-in and theft at a residence attached to a business on Elora Street South here.
Police say that on Jan. 11 at about 3:05pm a male and female entered Harriston Hearing Care business.
“While the female was being treated for an ear issue the male disappeared,” police stated in a press release.
“The complainant reported hearing movement upstairs while treating the female; however, did not go up … She continued treating the female until … the female left the business.”
When the complainant’s family returned home they noticed several miniature brass collector trains were missing as well as a quantity of medicinal marijuana and a bracelet.
The suspects are described as:
– female, about five-feet, four inches, with a thin build, high cheek bones, dark straight shoulder length hair, wearing a black parka, hoodie, jeans carrying a purse and bag; and
– male, wearing a grey hoodie, orange baseball hat, black bomber coat and blue jeans, carrying a red/orange knapsack.
