On Jan. 23 at about 12:45pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a break and enter from a detached shop at a residence on Wellington Road 51 in Guelph-Eramosa.
Police say on Jan. 22 at about 7:45am an unknown suspect entered the detached shop at the rear of the property. The suspect stole a mountain bike. Surveillance video shows the suspect riding the bike to a neighboring business and placing it into a Volkswagen car, possibly a Jetta.
The stolen bike is described as a silver KHS XC604 with black forks. The bike had little pieces of tape on the wires to protect them as well as yellow zip ties. Both the front and rear wheels and the spokes were all black in colour with one spoke on each wheel being white.
