Bob Milne headed for Eden Mills

Bob Milne has been described as a musical genius – an unassuming, fun-loving musical genius who wows his audience, gets thundering applause and standing ovations.

Milne describes himself as a journeyman musician, “someone who will drive anywhere today, to play a piano tonight, so he can eat someplace tomorrow” and has been travelling across North America for half a century honing his unmistakable style, tempo and improvisational skills to create a performance that is truly unique.

His energetic renditions of barrelhouse boogie and ragtime standards are interspersed with entertaining anecdotes and interesting insights into the piano playing styles of mid 1800 through 1920 America.

Bob Milne will transform the Eden Mills Community Hall into a “Honkey Tonk Heaven” on June 4. Doors open at 7pm and music begins at 7:30pm.

General admission is $25 and students pay $10.
