GUELPH – On Nov. 19 Guelph Police were called to a residence on Yorkshire Street here about samples of blood being stolen from a front porch.
“The samples were left on the front porch for a company to pick them up, and it was discovered that they were taken from the time they were left out until the time the company came to pick them up,” police stated in a press release.
The Guelph Police are reminding the public not to leave packages outside, particularly near the holiday season.
“Having packages left out on your front porch makes it an easy target for thieves to take them,” police say.
“If you are having a package delivered, ensure someone is home to receive it or have the company bring it … for a personal pickup.”
