There were 214 donors at the January and February blood donor clinics held here.
Up to 642 patient’s lives were touched by the generosity.
“Continuing support from area blood donors is key to the ongoing success of local clinics,” said Marg Gow, the community development coordinator of Canadian Blood Services. “Mount Forest and area residents are some of the most generous blood donors in the region.”
“I know that we can continue to rely on residents to help meet patient needs,” said Gow. The goal for the next clinic is 100 units.
It will be held at the Mount Forest recreation centre on March 16 from 2 to 8pm.
