PALMERSTON – Volunteers at the Blessings Thrift and Gift Store in Palmerston presented a cheque for $5,000 toward the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation’s MRI campaign’s $8-million goal. Operational funding for a magnetic resonance imaging machine at the hospital was announced in December of 2022 by the provincial health ministry. However, the cost of purchasing the equipment and construction work to accommodate it is up to the hospital, with the support of the foundation.
