The fundraising committee of the Elora BIA is organizing a trip to the Art Gallery of Ontario on Nov. 4 to view the Frida and Diego Exhibition.
The exhibition will feature more than 80 works of art by Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, as well as more than 60 photographs of the married couple. Rivera was recognized internationally as a prominent muralist artist, while Kahlo was known for her intimate paintings.
The exhibit reflects their lives together and their commitment to the transformation of post-revolutionary Mexico.
This is a fundraiser for the Elora Green Space at Mill and Metcalfe Streets. Tickets are $150. This includes round trip transportation, admission to the AGO, brunch at Frank Restaurant and a $50 donation to the Green Space (tax receipt available).
