An evening workshop on suicide bereavement is being held on Nov. 15 from 6:30 to 8pm at the East Wellington Family Health Team office, located at 6 Thompson Cres. in Erin.
This evening is intended for adults who have experienced the suicide of a family member, partner, child, friend or someone else close to them. All are welcome.
Organizers hope is to offer ongoing groups for those who have had someone close to them die by suicide.
Across Wellington and Dufferin counties, the lives of many have been touched by the tragedy of suicide.
This evening program will provide an opportunity to hear a message of hope from someone who is a suicide survivor, provide a safe place for others who wish to talk about the impact of suicide upon their lives, and to obtain information and resources to help in the journey of healing.
Pre-registration is not required. For more information call Kim Muller at 519-766-3386 or Hospice Wellington at 519-836-3921.
