Belwood Car Show brought out classic cars on Sept. 11

Cherry red – This is one of some 231 cars that came out to the Belwood Car Show on Sept. 11. The show  was a chance meet old friends and to meet new ones and was sponsored by Belwood Lake Car Club.

Can’t-miss vehicle – Mary Ann Randall and Richard MacArthur of Guelph brought their bright shirts and their bright green 1957 modified Chevy Cameo truck to the Belwood Car Show on Sept. 11. “You can’t lose him in a crowd no matter how hard you try, “ said Randall.

Funny business – The modified cars were mostly gleaming hot rods that look like they could break a speed record at the Belwood Car Show last Sunday. This is one of the ‘funny cars.’ “A lot of work goes into modifying these cars,” one of the visitors said. “And a lot of money.”
