Bay City Rollers to headline Saturday night concert at Scottish Festival this summer

FERGUS – The Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games is thrilled to announce ‘A Scottish Saturday Night Concert’ as part of its 80th anniversary celebrations.

The event will take place on the festival main stage Saturday night and will feature “the boy band that turned the world tartan” – the Bay City Rollers – and festival favourites, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and Albannach.

Charles Vandervaart, a fan favourite Outlander star, will be returning as the featured guest in 2025.

Known as William Ransom on the hit TV series Outlander, the festival is delighted to welcome him back for the festivities.

Taking place Aug. 8 to 10, the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games will celebrate its 80th anniversary this year.

“The 80th anniversary is going to be big, and we invite the entire community and beyond to join us.” says executive director Elizabeth Bender.

“We are ecstatic to share the great news about Charles and the Scottish Saturday Night with more surprises still to come. This is a year not to miss.”

Festival tickets are on sale now with a special 80 for 80 promotion.

Weekend adult passes are $80 for the next 80 days.

The ‘A Scottish Saturday Night’ concert will be included in Saturday and weekend admissions, with a concert-only ticket also available.  Featured guest schedule with Charles Vandervaart and ticket details are coming soon.
