The Minto Arts Council will host the latest in its Basement Café concert series on Sept. 26 at 8pm.
Featured are three groups of musicians with a broad range of musical styles.
The Hazy Maidens, Amy Welsman McCann and Julie McCann, are a violin duo with amazing harmonies.
Sean Patrick and Flora Knight play fiddle and banjo tunes to mournful country classics or sweet silly waltzes.
The Dubious Brothers, six local men, Ron Siebert, Wesley Bates, David Magee, Jim Shuffield, Lee Hickling and Michael Park will be playing old time, early roots and contemporary tunes on banjo, guitar, bass and mandolin.
Tickets are $20 and can be bought at the door, at Harriston Home Hardware, from a Minto Arts Council volunteer, or by calling 519-338-2497 to reserve in advance.
The Basement Café will be held on the lower floor of the Harriston Public Library located at 88 Mill Street.
