FERGUS – The Fergus Grand Theatre will host acclaimed Celtic group, the Barra MacNeils on July 6 for their only southwestern Ontario show this summer.
For more than three decades, the Cape Breton-based family group has been thrilling audiences of all ages.
Hailing from Sydney Mines, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, the Barra MacNeils are deeply rooted in Celtic music, culture, dance, language and history.
Given the Grand Theatre is smaller than the typical Barra MacNeils venue, one can expect an intimate and up-close live concert experience.
Multiple lead vocalists, beautiful harmonies, instrumental expertise on a wide variety of acoustic, stringed, percussion and wind instruments blended with dancing and storytelling; it is family entertainment at its best.
