FERGUS – A Royal Tribute Productions presents the Timeless: Rock Rebels show on Oct. 17 at 7:30pm at the Fergus Grand Theatre.

HARRISTON – The Grey Wellington Theatre Guild (GWTG) 2024 summer youth production is fresh take on a well-loved medieval-era tale that features a lively cast of budding actors. 

PALMERSTON – A donation of $5,000 from The Blessings to You Centre along with the support of the Palmerston Lions Club and the Town of Minto is helping the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum with its vision of restoring the caboose, an invaluable piece of history, to its original configuration. 

GUELPH – Penny & Pound Theatre Productions will be putting on a production of the Broadway hit musical, ‘Newsies,’ at Guelph Little Theatre in July.

HARRISTON – May’s Café at the Old Post in Harriston celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting on July 12.

MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Thrift Store celebrated its 15th anniversary on July 11 with cupcakes and friends.

ABOYNE –  Wellington County showcased the many diverse cultures in the community at its second Multicultural Festival, held on the grounds of the Wellington County Museum and Archives on July 13. 

PALMERSTON – Foodland in Palmerston celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting on July 12.

ELORA – Chorizo, a three-year-old mini dachshund, won  the  title of Top Dog at Grand River Raceway’s 2024 Wiener Dog Races presented by Dreamland Pet on July 12.

GUELPH – It’s kitten season, and this week the Guelph Humane Society is partnering with PetSmart Charities of Canada to offer same-day adoptions in honour of the 25th anniversary of National Adoption Week, from July 15 to 21.

ARTHUR – The grand opening of the Arthur Public School (APS) primary playground was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 18.

SALEM – For the seventh year, the Garagemahal event in Salem has raised awareness and support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington.
