CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon raises over $376,000 for hospitals
WINGHAM – The CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon took to the airwaves on Oct. 19 with a mission to inspire support for local hospitals in mid-western Ontario. At the end of the seven-hour broadcast, $376,189 was raised toward vital health care projects for hospitals.
Audience gets in on the action with Canadian Improv Showcase
FERGUS – The audience seemed to enjoy the Canadian Improv Showcase at the Fergus Grand Theatre on Oct. 17 as the performers demonstrated their quick wit and ability to think on their feet in this unscripted performance that was largely directed by audience suggestions.
Provincial grant supports accessibility renovations at Schoolhouse Theatre
ST. JACOBS – In September 2023, Drayton Entertainment was awarded a $100,000 capital grant from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to improve accessibility for theatre-goers and community members at the Hildebrand Schoolhouse Theatre, St. Jacobs.
