HARRISTON – The Grey Wellington Theatre Guild Summer Youth Production was staged from July 28 to 30 at the Harriston Town Hall Theatre.

HARRISTON — With 41 students and 22 volunteer staff on board, “Stellar Vacation Bible School” blasted off at Whites Road Pentecostal Church here on July 24 for a week-long “stellar” adventure. 

PALMERSTON – Organizers of the recent Help Fore Our Hospital Golf Tournament dropped by a recent Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation MRI campaign committee meeting to drop off a cheque for over $20,000, the proceeds of the inaugural tournament held in June.

ROCKWOOD – Rockwood FC’s U21 Ladies won the club’s first Ontario Women’s League Championship this season.

HARRISTON – Harriston Rising is inviting area residents and visitors to “party on and  pig out” at the Harriston Street Party Buffet on the Boulevard, catered by the Smokin’ Pig.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Local residents are being encouraged to celebrate Food Day Canada on Aug. 5 by cooking meals with curated farmers’ market recipes using local ingredients.

FERGUS – The Fergus BIA sponsors Twilight at Templin, an evening of free music in Templin Gardens every Wednesday.

MAPLETON – The weather could not have been better for the 33rd annual Conestogo Lake Conservation Area Catch and Release Fishing Tournament on July 22.
