CENTRE WELLINGTON – Despite requests from developers to put the brakes on the township’s urban boundary until analysis of the new Provincial Policy Statement (PPS) can be done and new population targets determined, council endorsed the new urban boundary recommended by staff.
Proposed Puslinch capital budget includes $6.6 million in projects
ABERFOYLE – Puslinch council started slogging through the township’s proposed 2025 capital budget at its Oct. 23 meeting. The proposed capital budget for 2025 totals $6.6 million. Of that, $1.4 million is proposed to come from the tax levy and the balance from reserves or grants.
Puslinch Minor Soccer loses all equipment in fire
PUSLINCH – Firefighters responded to a grass fire call on Wellington Road 36 in Badenoch around 5am on Oct. 23 but arrived to find the township-owned storage shed had burned to the ground. The shed was used by Puslinch Minor Soccer and all its equipment was destroyed in the blaze.
