Audition call for The Drawer Boy

Auditions will take place the evenings of Oct. 4, 5 and 6 for the award winning Canadian play The Drawer Boy.

The play tells the story of two farmers in southern Ontario who took in a city boy, a university student wanting to write a play about farming and to learn by living with the two farmers.

The show combines comedy with a touching drama that deals with friendship, loyalty, love and secrets. The three major roles include two farmer men over 50 years of age and a young man who can play someone in his 20s.

Auditions by appointment will take place at Elora Community Theatre’s new space at the corner of Highway 86 and Catherine Street.  

The production of The Drawer Boy will take place at the Fergus Grand Theatre on Feb. 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14.
