Century Theatre Guild in Hillsburgh will be holding auditions on Dec. 12 at 10am for the spring comedy The Second Time Around by Henry Denker.
The play centres around two retired people who fall in love and want to be together.
The problem is their neurotic and eccentric children and grandchildren have their own ideas about how the older generation should behave.
Fortunately, the older generation have a few cunning tricks up their sleeve.
The play calls for four couples, of three generations, the older couple 65 and older, two couples 35 to 50, and the grandchildren 18 years old.
“This will be a good opportunity for high school students who can pass as first year college students,” says director Jo Phenix in a press release.
“The young people’s roles are interesting, but quite small, so would not interfere too much with school work.”
Rehearsals will start in late March, with show dates May 27 to June 5.
