At The Library: Summer reading has officially begun at the library

By Rosie Krul

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Our Summer Reading Club has officially begun!

If you haven’t already, it’s not too late to drop in at your local branch of the Wellington County Library to register. Every book read is a ballot earned for our grand prizes.

There will be fabulous programming and amazing performers all summer long, so check out wellington.ca/LibraryCalendar for a full list of what’s happening near you.

Of course, we don’t expect you to spend the entire summer in our cool, air-conditioned libraries.

For the time you want to spend exploring the great outdoors, why not check out a Parks Pass?

All cardholders are welcome to borrow a day-use pass to a variety of nearby parks and conservation areas, including Grand River Conservation Authority, Ontario Parks, and Credit Valley.

These passes provide complimentary day-use access at hundreds of parks and conservation areas.

Passes check out for a one-week loan on a first-come first-served basis from select Wellington County libraries.

Search “pass kit” at wellington.ca/LibraryCatalogue or call your local branch for details.
