At The Library: Libraries celebrate Halloween throughout October

By Rosie Krul
Harriston Branch Supervisor

Join us in celebrating Ontario Public Library Week from October 20 to October 26!

We are so grateful to be able to provide the services that we do to our communities.

If you would like to stop in at a branch and tell your local library staff what you appreciate about the Wellington County Library system, it’s a great week to do it!

Plus, enter to win a book or get a free card replacement.

October is also the month where the province highlights Fire Prevention Week from Oct. 3 to Oct 9.

The theme for the annual safety week is “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety” and they are encouraging the public to ensure everyone has working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in their homes.

Our libraries are tested for fire safety on a regular basis, and our homes should be as well.

Join us at the following libraries for a special Story Time with a Firefighter!
