Arthur Junior Horticultural  Society help plant a garden at local post office

Digging in - While following physical distancing requirements, some of the Arthur Junior Horticultural Society members recently helped to plant the garden at the town post office. The soil was prepared by Hans Theurer and Wayne Gowland. Thea Ouwehand and Patti Emery dug the holes. Three members of the junior group arrived for the first shift and planted one side of the planter with 24 portulacca plants. The second shift planted the other side. Participating Junior members included Abby Bell, Isabelle and Grace Lougheed and their mother, Choe Bott, as well as Henry Fox and his mother.
