A children’s water festival for area students will take place at the Waterloo Region Museum later this month.
The Waterloo Wellington Children’s Groundwater Festival runs May 26, 29 and June 1 at the museum. The event, one of the longest-running water festivals in the province, is aimed at primary students in the Waterloo Region, Wellington County and the City of Guelph.
The festival’s focus is on five water-related themes: science, protection, technology, conservation and water attitudes.
