For 10 years, Arthur St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church has hosted a family community New Year’s Eve skating celebration.
This year again, it would like to invite everyone to grind the rust off their skates and join in.
There will be skating from 6:30 to 8pm at the Arthur and Area Community Centre, followed by munchies and hot chocolate in the upper hall.
At 8:45, there will be a New Year’s Eve countdown, set with hats and noisemakers for the children.
All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Admission is free with either a canned good for the Arthur Food Bank or a monetary donation which will go towards helping the people of Nicaragua.
“If you have never been to this event, you don’t know what you are missing,” organizers state.
“There is no need to stay at home this New Year’s Eve. Come and help usher in 2015.”
