MINTO – The eighth annual Andersons’ Community Christmas Dinner will be held on Dec. 25.
The free event, hosted by Minto residents Dave and Jean Anderson, is open to everyone looking to spend time with others on Christmas day.
The event site is rotated between community centres in Clifford, Palmerston and Harriston. This year’s event will be held at the Harriston-Minto Community Centre, 111 George Street South.
A traditional turkey dinner will be served between 1 and 3pm.

– request a meal or meals to be delivered;
– order meals for pickup between noon and 12:30;
– volunteer to help with food preparation, serving dinner, cleanup or deliveries; and/or
– donate food or pies.
“There is no need to call ahead to reserve a spot for the sit-down dinner,” the Andersons state. “Just come on out and join us. All are welcome. We will have lots of food.”
