An evening with Bradley and King

The Eden Mills Writers’ Festival, in collaboration with The Bookshelf, is hosting two award-winning Canadian authors, Alan Bradley and Thomas King.

The event will take place Jan. 27 at 7:30pm at the River Run Centre, Cooperators Hall in Guelph. Tickets are $10 at The Bookshelf or the River Run Cenre box office. Bradley is the author of the popular Flavia De Luce mystery novels which have sold three million copies in 31 languages, in 37 countries. Bradley’s novels have garnered numerous crime-writing awards. On a rare visit to Canada, he will be reading from his latest novel in the series, As Chimney Sweepers Come To Dust.  King, friend of the festival, Order of Canada recipient of the 2014 Governor General Award for Fiction and Professor Emeritus (University of Guelph), is considered one of Canada’s most important writers. He will be reading from his award-winning novel, The Back of the Turtle.
