The Ariss and District Lions Club is hosting an alternative walk for dog guides on June 1 for those who are unable to attend the Fergus and Guelph walks.
The event is being held one week later than other local walks for the cause.
The Lions walk will be held at Heritage Park in Maryhill. Registration will be after 1pm with the walk starting at 2pm.
A small barbecue and some prizes are available after the walk.
It also qualifies for student community service hours.
All walk information as well as pledge forms are available at www.Purinawalkfordogguides.com by entering Maryhill as the walk location.
Donations can also be made on the web site.
