ALMA – The Alma Optimist Club will once again be hosting the Alma Santa Claus parade Dec. 22 from 2 to 3pm.
This family-friendly event will feature festive floats, local performers, and, of course, Santa himself.
This will mark Santa’s final parade of the season before he retires to the North Pole to get ready for his Christmas Eve trek.
The parade will begin at the Alma Community Centre before travelling down Simpson Street East, then turn left on Elora Street North (also known as Wellington Road 7), travelling through the village of Alma.
Prior to the parade, the Alma Optimist will host Breakfast with Santa at the Alma Community Centre from 8:30 to 10:30am with opportunities for photos with Santa as well, (bring your own camera). Registration for the breakfast is not required and admission is by donation.
