The May meeting of the Alma WI was a tour of the newly-renovated Fergus Library. Rebecca Hine, the branch supervisor, guided the group through the three floors of the library before returning to the meeting room on the third floor overlooking the Grand River at the beautiful, well-equipped facility.
The regular May meeting was conducted by president Shirley Fletcher.
The roll call theme was tell a book recently read.
Volunteer hours were recorded by secretary Marg Hall. Helen Moffatt gave a report on her attendance at the Wellington-Halton district annual meeting held in Eden Mills.
Shirley Fletcher also attended the annual meeting and shared the in-memoriam poem and a presentation on Times a Changing.
A contest on old TV shows was won by Shirley Fletcher.
The June meeting is a mystery tour, with members to meet at the Alma Hall at 11am.
