ADVERTISING FEATURE: Blooming Dale”™s takes “˜the business of love”™ very seriously

February … a month devoted to love.

“At Blooming Dale’s, we take the business of love very seriously,” says owner Dale Franklin.  “Although Valentine’s Day is the day when many people take a moment to reflect on the special people in their lives, by this time of year, here at Blooming Dale’s, we’re already working hard to help brides and grooms prepare for the beginning of their lifelong commitment to one another.”

Franklin says people often ask what the most popular month is to get married, and that varies from year to year. It used to be that June was the month to get married.

“Some years, we find the trend leans heavily toward autumn weddings, and then other years, we are busy, busy, busy in the spring!  Whatever time of year our clients decide to ‘tie the knot,’ we’re here to lend our assistance and expertise to make sure their day is made a little more special through their flower choices,” says Franklin.

Maureen Ten Hoopen is Blooming Dale’s trusted wedding designer. She has many years of experience in helping to guide and encourage brides and grooms while they make their wedding flower choices. Whether flowers are an accent to your day, or a desired feature element of your décor, Blooming Dale’s can work with your budget, style and taste to make sure they are “just right”!

The business has a long list of satisfied bridal couples who can attest to Blooming Dale’s desire to provide the best in service and value at this important time in their relationship.

Blooming Dale’s offers a few “perks” to booking locally. Brides receive their attention throughout the booking process and staff are always willing to meet as many times as is necessary to make sure that they know what is desired. All consultations are free, but need to be pre-booked. The bride receives a free throw-away bouquet, ensuring that she will be able to keep the masterpiece that she chose so lovingly. Blooming Dale’s also offer three drop-off locations free of charge on the day of the wedding. On-site setup and delivery of the reception flowers is also included, and can be arranged for either the day before or the day of the wedding.

“We want to ensure that everything looks wonderful on your special day,” says Franklin.

As a small-town full service flower shop, staff often know their customers well, or they’ve been referred by a friend. Way back, almost 12 years ago when Blooming Dale’s opened, shop owner Franklin made a conscious decision to build the wedding business slowly, and without advertising.

“That way, our only advertising was gained through the word-of-mouth advertising of satisfied bridal clients,” she said. “It has proven to be a successful method. Our brides know that when they come into the shop, they will be treated with respect and care. They have enough stress preparing for this most beautiful of days, without worrying about how their wedding flowers will look and whether or not they will go over budget!”

Blooming Dale’s takes that worry away.  As they tell their brides: now that you’ve booked with us, you can put flowers on the “do not worry” list!

When you set this most important of dates, plan to call Maureen and book a free wedding consultation.

“We are here to ensure your wedding day will be fantastically floral!”
