Councillor Wayne Stokley is impressed with the start-up of the Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market.
“It’s a great venue. I was actually there twice – once in the morning, and then I rode my bike there around 12:30pm and there were even more people.”
He said there was a continuous flow of traffic throughout the entire day.
There were other activities going on at the same time, such as soccer in the fields, a local church doing a car wash, as well as the farmers’ market.
Stokley then added, “Matt Bulmer and his group deserve congratulations for a job well done. It was a very good job.”
He asked if council could forward a letter to that effect to the group, commenting on the great turnout and the great job.
