ABERFOYLE – The annual craft market is back and that’s great news for those who want to get a jump on Christmas shopping.
On Oct. 29, regular market hours will be extended, to 8am to 3pm, at the Puslinch Optimist Recreation Centre for the craft market
With over 60 vendors registered, the market will be full of authentic handmade products from within Wellington County and beyond, officials say.
Gift giving has never been so easy and so thoughtful with such a wide selection of one-of-a-kind goods and locally made products, organizers add.
And, of course, visitors can still take advantage of an impressive selection of seasonal veggies, meats, fresh baking and preserves.
Honey and maple syrup make great additions to locally curated gift baskets for family, friends, teachers – anyone on your list, officials say.
Food trucks will serve breakfast and lunch alongside the ever-popular apple fritters from local Puslinch business Aberfritters.
Always a popular event with record breaking attendance each year, the market will operate rain or shine. Organizers encourage shoppers to come early for the best selection.
Admission and parking are always free, and the facility is fully accessible with access to public washrooms.
Cash and card payments accepted, but will vary by vendor. There will also be an ATM on-site.
