Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus, with her family at her side, on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Donata (nee Morelli) Cellucci, in her 89th year, was the beloved wife of the late Carmelo Cellucci (June 15, 2013). She was the loving mother to Lisa (Brian Dodds), Manuel (Ann-Marie Goodfellow), Anita (Richard Moen) and mother-in-law of Nancy Langeder. Donata was the cherished Nonna to Brandon, Danielle (Jordan Schwindt), Jaclyn (Ryan Jones), Jordan, Justin, Craig and Brittany (Terra Armstrong) and Bis Nonna to Owen, Brock, Iris and Oliver. She is survived by her sister Fioralba Morelli. Donata was predeceased by her parents Antonio and Cesidia (nee Carolis) Morelli, by her sister Antonia Morelli and by her son Rico Cellucci (2005). Donata was a sweet, gentle soul whose care and concern for her family was her first priority. Everyone was welcome in her home and never left hungry. Her homemade spaghetti sauce and pizza were legendary. Her family will remember her as she was before Alzheimer’s left its mark and they will cherish those precious memories. Donata’s family wish to express their sincere gratitude for the kind, compassionate care she received from Dr. Stickney and all the staff at Wellington Terrace. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
