ROCKWOOD – Guelph-Eramosa will begin imposing a three-hour parking limit in the parking lots at Rockmosa Park.
The restrictions will apply to parking lots near the new dog park, the west sports fields, the library, Rockmosa Hall and the tennis courts.
Residents of the new development near the park have been using the lots for their own use said Robin Milne, director of parks and recreation, and that makes it difficult for snow clearing in winter and for park users at any time.
Two parks and recreation staff members will be designated to enforce the new parking bylaw.
“This will give staff the ability to ticket,” Milne said.
