ERIN – The Town of Erin has launched a new online payment system.
The municipality announced on Sept. 9 that resident can pay for items such as burn permits, taxes and water bills at www.erin.ca.
Officials say “COVID-19 has re-emphasized the dire need for online solutions” and note the town will be using PayPal as its payment processor.
“We are pleased to be able to provide residents with a new online method of payment, making services easier to access,” stated communications officer Jessica Spina in a town press release.
Mayor Allan Alls said, “Council and staff are committed to offering residents with convenient, online solutions, that further enhance the user experience.
“I am glad to see the launch of this project as it is just another way that the town is able to provide service excellence to our residents.”
Town officials encourage residents to explore the new online payment solutions and provide the municipality with feedback.
