GUELPH – Applications for the Upper Grand District School Board’s (UGDSB) Police Presence in Schools Task Force closed on Aug. 10.
The task force, which the board decided to form on June 23, will include community members and/or individuals.
The criteria included:
– an interest in reviewing and assessing police presence in schools;
– a resident within the UGDSB who supports the public-school system;
– a member of a community organization.
Applicants were asked to state reasons for applying and make themselves available to participate in meetings.
