Piping his support – It’s a growing trend: to make some noise at 7:30pm every day to show support for health care workers, as the photo above suggests. Peter Hummel, left, known professionally as Peter Piper, got wind of the idea and took it to the next level. After playing on his patio, he shared video of his performances on the Caremongering Centre Wellington Facebook page and it took off. Now he’s taking daily requests. Hummel is a member of the Fergus Pipe Band and the newly formed Sporran to Be Wild.
