GUELPH – The Da Vinci Program, an arts and science environmental and community leadership program run out of John F. Ross CVI in the Arboretum of the University of Guelph, is launching its annual end-of-semester art exhibition and community celebration.
The festive launch will take place at 10C, 42 Carden St. on Jan. 30, beginning at 6pm, and will continue to be displayed until the end of the day on Feb. 1.
This year’s show, titled Then Somebody Moves, explores a world of chaos, fragmentation and constant movement, while harnessing bravely and fully the wondrous act of being simply, sincerely and unapologetically alive.
Half of the proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis.
This year’s show includes a variety of artistic mediums: photography, painting, collage, video, music, sound art, sculpture, live performances and more.
10C is located at 42 Carden St. Guelph. Admission is free.
