Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Health Center, Kitchener. Mervin was born 70 years ago in Kenilworth, Ontario. Loving father and grandfather of Shane (Christine) Waters and their children Brandon and Joshua; Ryan Waters and his daughter Zoey; Chad Waters and his children Mervin, Samuel, Gwen, Austin and Phoenix. Mervin will be forever missed by his sister Patricia Waters and his brother John (Cecilia) Waters. Mervin is now reunited with his beloved wife Janet Waters (Roosenboom) and his parents Kenneth and Rhoda (Rendall) Waters. Mervin was a hard working man working for Beaver Lumber, now better known as Swanson Home Building Centre or Home Hardware. He was very proud of the work he did and the relationships built with in that time with his many co-workers and customers. Mervin was a perfectionist and held a passion for his model air planes. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mervin’s life will take place on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Arthur Legion, 281 George St., Arthur, from 3:00 – 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Research Society would be greatly appreciated.
