Public works awards – Angela Storey, president of the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Public Works Association, attended the Oct. 31 Wellington County council meeting to present county officials with two 2019 awards from the association. The county was selected in the “First-Time Entry” and “Community of 30,000 – 99,999 Population” categories. The announcement was made Sept. 9 at the 2019 Public Works Expo in Seattle, Washington.
