Dear Editor:
This is to add my voice to the appreciation of village residents, people who know one another.
I am a senior and want others to know how thankful I am for all the caring attention they shower on me! Maybe soon these folks will be noticeable because of their angel wings! Most recently a person went all the way along the street to guide me home after my visit to the optometrist and my eyesight was blocked by the drops. Also my mail or my prescriptions are carried to my door if the weather is poor. Neighbours bring me treats and also pick up my mail or even put out my garbage – and even bring back the empty containers!
Do big city people even know what they are missing? Hurray for my village neighbours; may God bless you.
