Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at the age of 80, with his family by his side. Predeceased by his spouse Mary Mast (1993). Beloved husband of Dorothy. Loved father of Shelley (Brian) Gordon. Loving grandfather of Shawn, Phil and Kristina. Dear brother of Glen (Rosemary), Dale (Irene) and the late Muriel (Joe) McGee. Will be dearly missed by his extended family, friends and co-workers. Rae drove for McKinnon’s and was proudly accident-free for over 48 years, and was a member of the Antique Car Club. Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday, August 22, 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 1:00pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment Crown Cemetery. Special thanks to the caregivers at St. Joseph’s and those who helped Rae at home.
