WELLINGTON NORTH – East-West Luther Townline Road between Highway 89 and Concession Road 12 and 13 is expected to be closed until Nov. 1 as Dufferin County is replacing the Extra T Beam bridge.
A signed detour route will use Highway 89, Sideroad 21 and 22, and Concession Road 12 and 13.
The project includes the removal of the existing cast-in-place concrete ‘T’ beam bridge and construction of a new cast-in-place concrete rigid frame structure, including approximately 125m of road reconstruction work.
The contract was awarded to Nuroad Construction Limited and the road work is anticipated to be complete by Nov. 1.
Local access will be maintained at all times for residents from either the north or the south.
However, through access will not be permitted while the road is out.
Emergency services, student transportation services, waste collection and postal service will all be notified of the road closure.
Road closure notification signs will be installed and maintained throughout the road closure.
