Obituary

It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Neil Macbeth at Guelph General Hospital on June 25th, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Heather, loving and devoted father to his four children, Renata (Gareth), Rhys (Vivien), Conal, and Reilly. Loving grandfather to Logan and Payton. Neil was a loving family man and friend to all he met with a wicked sense of humour. He loved playing the pipes in the Grand Celtic Pipe Band and was an active member of the community. He will forever be remembered playing the sun down in Sauble Beach with his bagpipes. The sun may have set today sir, but your light will shine on forever. A celebration of life will be held in Neil’s honour on Saturday August 24th from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at the Fergus Legion, 500 Blair St. Fergus On, N1M 1S4.
