West Luther 4-H Poultry Club – On May 7 each member of the poultry club received three-day-old layer chicks provided by the Harriston Co-op. On May 10 members went to the Mount Forest Co-op for a meeting. They learned the requirements of raising laying hens and the prices of food and equipment. On July 10 for the fifth meeting members travelled to Ross Enterprises outside of Teviotdale where they saw how the chickens ate.
